When KD gets back form vaca I got a feelin the talk he has with Marks isnt gone be pleasant. In a recent interview KD said KI is his best friend in the league SO.............only REAL option is for BKLYN to offer Kyrie a contract with TONS OF INCENTIVE AND SUCH written, like must play a certain amount of games, no absences that arent basically pre approved, kinda sad but its the only way, he just hasnt shown that he is willing to put team first. KI lucky as F KD rides with him or else hed be DONE in BKLYN, DONE.

That KD window closing ever so damn slow, theres no MORE time to waste

They not playing with Kyrie anymore. You hate to see it.

As I've said before, I LOVE Kyrie's humanitarian efforts. And I also appreciate that he's such a forward thinker.

However, the amount of NON INJURY RELATED games missed is clearly an issue from management's POV.

I would like for him to return but can see why BKN may want to go in another direction.

I watched the entire press conference and:

- Nick Fridell can't keep Kyrie's name out his mouth. He seems to always, ALWAYS lead off with a question about Kyrie.
- Marks never addressed what the team's views are on Clax, Drum, or Patty as far as wanting them back or not.
- Also never addressed why the roster was so flawed last year and what creative ways they can use to fix things for next season
- Very alarming IMO that both A'mare and MDA have decided to leave the bench in consecutive years. Especially considering all their Suns history together with Nash.

my man at work and i watched todai, hes not a big fan of Uncle Drew BUT he did think the same, in a good head space, all the BS should be behind him. you dont get a chance like he has often, and the less 'drama' the more folx will listen to what he has to say.

Yep, I read that latest report and I'm like all of us in here might as well be the beat reporters for the Nets bc everything that's being reported on, we BEEN touched on it already.

This really is a pivotal off-season bc Kyrie could be gone, KD might check out mentally, and I can see Ben never playing basketball again.

Marks may want to blow it up and do it all over from scratch and in retrospect, he probably wishes he didn't listen to KI/KD and get rid of Atkinson for Nash. I think if it were up to Marks, he would have signed KD and NOT Kyrie and just kept Jarrett and Spencer and then eventually lure another max player to BKN down the road.

We'll see how this all plays out soon enough.

And Chris Broussard poo poo'ed that idea and insisted that a Westbrook for Kyrie deal would be better instead.

Why on earth would the Nets take Westbrook?? These "reporters" have zero clue man.
