Tell him he's an idiot. Compare finding nemo or anything on dvd to Wall-E, Kung-Fu Panda, Cars, Rattatouille and Happy Feet on blu-ray and Iguarantee he will eat his words, !!@! it out, and then eat it again.Originally Posted by stillmaticshay
thank you for the helpful info
i think i will just get newer movies on blu-ray
for instance, i was telling one of my co-workers i was gonna get wall-e... (move is off the chain btw) and he was like, yeah its a waste to get an animation movie in blu-ray, not a huge difference.
it looked pretty crisp when i watched it. he is kind of a know it all so i don't really take his words all that seriously. i like to come to my guys at NT for that friendly, helpful info.
i want to get tdk and hancock as well...

Even animation type like the simpsons benefit. Trust me they do look better on blu-ray, watch sleeping beauty on Blu-ray, a movie made over 50years ago, and I gurantee it will trump any new animation movie/series that are put on dvd. Trust me, the higher storage space definitely gives you benefits inPQ.Originally Posted by stillmaticshay
okay i got another side question, one of the guys was saying that i would see a big difference in wall-e as to the simpsons movie... but you are saying... compare wall-e to movies like kung-fu panda, cars, and so on... those are pure animation films.
so i guess what i want to know is, is there a big difference between those pixar type movies to actual animation films?
cause some of the movies you listed are the same as the simpsons, but not the same as wall-e.
hollatchagirl!
thanks guys!

I'm tempted to get Terminator 1 and 2 on blu ray since I haven't seen them, but I've been buying way too many DVDs/blu rays

That would be like asking if HD cable looks the same as standard tv...Originally Posted by Shaky3
Is it worth buying Blu-ray dvds if I have a 32 inch Sony LCD in 1080i/720p or should I just get regular dvds?
