Black guy hair cuts

Well boys, its official, I now do my own tapers :lol:

background : I grew up in a household that was so strict about hair, my pops would be on my ***, hair was a big deal, haircut every 12 days, comb brush ect...funny anecdote my mom used to say when my Grandmother met me for the first time (when I was a few weeks old) she mentioned my hair first thing and metnioned how someone needed to brush it :lol:

I like everyone else have been noticing the rising prices, in my hood it's 40 minimum before tip, guy closest to me is 45. I went home recently (after doing my own taper) and my pops mentioned how clean my cut was!!!

That's it no more! My *** is doing it on my own :smokin

That Cecred hair balm is solid. You really don’t need to use a lot. You just rub it in your hands to warm it up like a pomade. It’s lightweight so it doesn’t have a heavy hold or anything, but it gets the job done. I also copped the hair oil in the yellow bottle, the shampoo, the conditioner, and the edge drops (sharing all of these with my girl). I love the shampoo and hair balm. Haven’t used the hair oil long enough to have an opinion, but I put a little bit of that in my hair, the balm and put my durag on overnight and my **** was looking on point the next day.

Best way I can describe the products is the ingredients seem pretty good, smell great, and all of the products seem to moisturize my hair and give it a light shine without feeling like I have **** caked in my hair, and a little goes a long way so I won’t have to re-up soon (given the price). I honestly get the hype.

It’s like a better, more refined version of the Frederic Benjamin hair products that I also like a lot.

What are yall using to keep your braids neat for 3 weeks or more? Frizzy after 2 weeks every time :{

Reminds me of those Bevel trimmers I saw in here awhile back for $199 or whatever it was. Pair of T-liners and some Shea Moisture balm never hurt anyone
Amazon had a great sale on the wireless liners got the price down to 40 not mad at the purchase at all

Dude in the chair looked pissed by the end of the video :lol: :lol: I would be too if I had the crime scene chalk outlining my face with the painted hairline

The cruddy brush, the hair sponge and now I'm using a hard version of the hair sponge and I never get it quite perfect with a mix of moisturizers and products and having my hair wet.

different angle, possibly different cut but same style

Zero gap should be the first thing you do when you get your liners. Andis been going strong for damn near 15 years, only replaced the blade once when they dropped off the counter. I’ll probably get some wireless liners for international travels, don’t wanna risk smoking the motor on my wired andis fooling with those different voltage power outlets abroad.
