I’ve been getting Free Haircuts and it’s straight but Mann my facial hair grows back fast, it’s a terror

Has anyone trimmed (not fully cut) their locs on their own? Any dos/don'ts?

Giving my barber one last chance tomorrow

I like to keep my normal hairline but bro for whatever reason keep pushing the corners back and at times the middle of hairline. So when hair starts to grow back, **** looks looks funny.

Also my beard. Keep that **** wide man. Like bro don’t go below this piece of hair but somehow he finds a way to do so.

Sometimes I go a month between cuts just so I can give time for my **** to grow back.

That brings up a great point. What's the longest cut yall ever had? Back forever ago, like ages and eons ago, I went to this new barber that had opened up near a corner, so I just happened to see the shop when I was headed home one day. I think I was still taking the bus back then, or just on my "don't get lazy cause you have a car" thing.

Anyway, I went and got a cut and I kid you not, this cut lasted a sold hour plus. Got cut, faded, and then he used the scissors. I may as well have been a hollywood star the way I got treated. My **** looked glorious too. Walked out and tipped well, and just looked around the city like "I'm fresh as ****"

Got a cut today and he listened for the most part. Could’ve faded the beard a bit better but that’s just nitpicking.

My barber takes about a hour on my hair. **** doing be feeling that long tho. My lady was shocked. She think our cuts be like 15 mins smh. They don’t be knowing ****

My cuts are typically an hour and 15min. I get a drop fade and beard shape up.

Trimming the mustache is probably the trickiest for me. Normally I leave it natural but decided to take a lil off the top yesterday. Was trying not to make it too thin like this

That shh looks goofy to me. I've seen dudes with it and the gap is not visually pleasing. Messes up the proportions. I like my mustache to sit right at the start of the lip like this

That's what I do... Could never in my life do one of those skinny mustaches where you cut a majority of the mustache off those joints look absolutely terrible...
