Black Culture Discussion Thread

I will work that out for you. It's pretty simple, we were never talking about P Present . Thats you moving the goal post because of what ONE woman did you. We're talking about women choosing bum *** dudes. Why would you even put yourself in this? You're right about on thing, you don't force a woman to have sex with you, one way or the other you convince them and if you didn't, you can't be upset at the outcome. Just like women are generally aware of who they make children with so are men. Either you wrap it or flip it a man has to impregnate a women for any of this to even happen.

We're talking about accountability, Fam.

Women are more than capable of being held accountable for their own decisions, just like men.

If men do not have authority over women as it relates to sex or childbirth, then what are we talking about men for?

On the same note,

If a men choose to date/stay with/marry no-good women (over and over again), are we going to blame women? :smh:

His last responses broke my brain. Don’t even know how you understood anything lol. Zero logic

So....lets turn the perspective for a bit....so you're saying its true most black men wont raise their kids?

No……I said some good….some not so good. Also known as some stereotypes are true…..some stereotypes are not true.

In reference to what you said……I will say that most black men unfortunately are not married to their child’s mother…..and that’s based upon the statistics. Being married to your child’s mother and RAISING a child is two separate things.

You'd have stayed with her, huh?
Huh? That math aint mathing. Question: Did she know and/or agree to having children before hand?

One of my best female friends had a baby last year with a man who begged and pleaded with her to have an abortion

Again, Skipping over the first part. How did she get pregnant in the first place? She roofied him?

She has no problem "getting" men - even with all that going on, but if you think for one second that a man is actively seeking to take on accountability for 4 sons over which he has zero authority, you're out of your mind.

Because step daddies are mythological creatures. YOU wouldn't want to take on that responib-*gasp*. Before you ask, yes I've dated women with kids. Only one ever tried to bring me in to help with her child. Tbh, I was on some funboi **** and played dumb because I wanted the yambs.

*Did you see what happened there?*

She keeps telling me she's "not interested in a relationship" and that she is "now celibate."

 :smh:

I'd tell you how I feel about the word 'celibate' but last time it got deleted. Let's just say certain type of person even uses that word.

When I ask her about the 1 year old's father, she tells me he's "dead" to her. The man hasn't even seen the kid once.

So you trying to tell me there's absolutely nothing he can do to see his child? Tbh I already know the answer. I just so happened to be raised by someone who retired from that field.

All of these women are college-educated, beautiful, make well over the median income, and have their own.

There are crackheads who have/had all that too. If you haven't figured out yet, none of that changes the weather in Alaska. A person ad their character way before they had an education, a job, a title or material things. People keep trying to equate a person's character for tangible things because it's easier to do. That's another part of the problem.

Feminism got them so messed up that they can't even make good life choices for the next generation, yet somehow it's men's fault?

Give me a break!

And red pill internet bs spread by a bunch of bots and socially inept gooners got yall messed up. The first step in problem-solving is to identify the cause of the problem, aka "how we got here in the first place". You got here by shooting up the club. Only a man can do that. I'm not saying it's all the man's but you bout can't find any better example 50/50 fault than having a baby. "It takes two to tango.."

Actually, we were talking about automatically assuming a woman is a single parent because she "choose" the wrong dude. I pointed out that there are a lot of people that think having a baby by a black man automatically equals end up a single parent. I said we need to stop fanning the flames of that stereotype. deuce king deuce king said some things that damn near wan't to make me request photo verification of his blackness. I asked do you think its true most black men don't want to raise their children? Enter you, asking how can someone be held accountable for something that doesn't belong to them(boy what?!? :lol) as if you have no idea how baby's are made. Saying it now, there's clearly a misunderstanding somewhere.

I just think the idea of it all being the woman's fault when it clearly takes both parties to conceive a child is, quite frankly immature, and is why these folks are in the situation in the first place.

A Stereotype is usually formed by what appears, on a surface level to be the most common. It is 'some' or 'most', the difference is important. Crazy how you and tokes99 tokes99 conflicting stats. "Somebody lyin'"

Bless your heart. I drew a conclusion based upon the information that DCAllAfrican DCAllAfrican gave. Also something you have to realize tr1ll tr1ll is that DCAllAfrican DCAllAfrican and myself work in the same city…….probably grew up not too far from each other (based upon past stories) on here and hear and see some of the same things given our proximity to one another.

You can be naive and clueless all you want to on things champ, that’s on you……which is fine by me of course. Myself and others on here right now have a responsibility to make sure some of the younger brothers out here that are reading this thread don’t end up like you…..and more importantly don’t push this feminist agenda that you continue to carry on with.

And he gave information from what he had. All he said is he wasn't there.....he never said why...YOU jumped to that conclusion. YOU made up the why. That name stuff is just antidotal. I have a fairly uncommon last name but yet there was ONE other person in my whole school with my last name and we're not related. We checked.

Once again, Fam. We are talking about accountability.

No man is ever responsible for what a woman decides to do with her body.

Even if a woman decided to have a kid beforehand, she could wake up one day and randomly decide to change her mind.

Even if a woman decided not to have a kid beforehand, she could wake up one day and randomly decide to change her mind.

Either way - her body, her choice.

Women choose to have sex or not.
Women choose who to have sex with and who not to.
Women choose to have babies out of wedlock or not.
Women choose to be on birth control or not.
Women choose to have sex while ovulating (which is only 6 days out of the month) or not.
Women choose to have abortions or not.

I don't see the problem with putting accountability on the folks with the authority to make these choices. That's how authority works.

Yes, men choose to have sex. He has zero authority to dictate what happens afterward.

Or to put it plain, can a man choose to be a Father or not? If so, how?

What's he gonna do? Make her have his kid??? Make her have an abortion???

It's 2025, not 1965  :smh:

Choosing to have sex ≠ choosing to become a parent.

Only a woman can make that choice. Ain't no "two tangoing" about it.

Tango up to an abortion clinic and see how that works out for you.

Hold up. Maybe this a cultural or religious difference I’m not aware of but do you believe if you have sex with a woman, you have absolutely no choice nor control in busting in her? Yes or no?

ahh, ok i get your perspective...for sure man has to accept the possibility of outcomes of sliding unprotected (altho there could be various mitigating circumstances, i.e. women 'forgetting' to take their birth control, the prophylactic breaking or otherwise failing, man getting lost in the sauce prematurely 😮‍💨) that stated these times i can't really agree that it's 50/50 when women can choose to abdicate their responsibility in biological imperative after conception but man will be made to be responsible against his wishes-tho i do understand why the state should/would want to hold the father responsible

Yes. Men have the authority and accountability for ejaculation.

Yes. Women have the authority and accountability for who they allow to have access to their bodies and what happens afterwards.

Men have zero authority or accountability over women when it comes to sex/reproduction.

In other words, men have no "reproductive rights".

Having sex, birth control, ovulation schedules, and terminating or proceeding with pregnancy, men have absolutely no choice in these matters.

A man can want to have sex with a woman all he wants, but it's up to her to give him access to her lady parts.

If it's her body and her choice, then it is her authority and her accountability.

Authority without accountability is failure.

They gotta stop crucifying Ja over this gun s** man. It’s ridiculous at this point.

ESPECIALLY coming from America. A gun obsessed nation.

And I personally HATE guns. I believe in throwing hands but, yeah

And that's it. Anything after that is excuses, literally not taking accountability. That's like knocking over a cup and blaming everyone else for not helping clean it up. YOU knocked over(up) the cup(girl), you have to take responsibility, even if she makes it hard. That's what men do, overcome adversity. You don't just get to fold because a woman is involved. You knocked over the first domino that put all that other **** in effect. You sho right. accountability without authority is failure. YOU have to have authority over yourself aka self control, if not, you are a failure. That's why the women be so upset, dudes out here writing check with their meat they *** can't cash.

You said it earlier, most (people) know who they're dealing with, so It's key to know how all that works. If she still hitting her period on schedule.... Just like with women, they see the red flags but ignore them because they mesmerized by the box.

Condom breaking, most of the time is due to user error. Either they were old, cheap, too tight or too baggy. I feel like the latter is the most common case with "getting lost in the sauce". Dudes writing checks with their meat their *** can't cash.

your overall justification for the equally shared accountability/duty is not an unfamiliar one & to be clear in most cases most people agree, if maybe more men do so kinda reluctantly, ultimately the majority of men do acquiesce to this understanding…it really is the edge cases where it’s tricky, like women who get those ‘buzzer beater babies’ type surprise pregnancies from a relationship where both are under some understanding that she either can’t or doesn’t want chirren but switches up when this surprise conception happens, is man responsible here?

then you have man that are basically notorious 🥜 🌰 🔩-ers w/multiple children sometimes by multiple women & really not involved in naan one lives outside a check, if that…but women are still too often voluntarily signing up for these man that have already shown themselves to be irresponsible & unaccountable insofar as that is the scenario these women can’t & don’t really have an expectation man will flip into a responsible father suddenly

get the idea that man technically signs up for this shared obligation by dint of the participation of creation…however, the reality is man doesn’t not have the same biological/physical reality as gyal as a result it literally cannot be 50/50 as nature put the burden of childbirth on woman…as such the onus is on women to choose with a shrewd discernment, especially these times when communities/families are less extended & less communal, the type of man they involve themselves with 🤷🏿‍♂️ given the looser societal restraints & safeguards that used to be in place

I believe Ja is INTENTIONALLY doing this stuff :rollin trying to live up to his made up gangsta persona. While America as a whole is obsessed with guns, it seems that gun deaths are obsessed with black males.

In the words of Huey P Newton..."It takes Two to tango..." so you really think black women be out here like, "Ohh baby bust in me!", or is it dudes out here like; 'I'd go raw"?

Trying to absolve men of accountability is ******* WILD! Talk about calling the kettle black.

I hope yall get that **** worked out.
If you have/had a daughter that had a baby with a bum dude that walked out of their lives, no part of you is questioning the decision making of your daughter?

He’s going to look for the male and ask him why he didn’t make better choices like not being a bum, and that he should have refrained from cracking his daughter even though she offered it up to him (due to the bum’s charm & charisma). His daughter couldn’t have gotten pregnant without the bum
