Chics getting with dudes who have no car, no job, no hustle, are unkempt or have bad hygiene. Have no bank account or 401k… live pillar to post. Don’t take care of their kids. Don’t even clean or do laundry…

Nobody said it was ALL her fault.

We said, SHE controls the access so therefore it begins with her ALLOWING dude inside.

That is a different statement than saying it is ALL her fault.

Since Roe v Wade, it's her body, her choice.

It's 100% her responsibility...because ONLY a woman has the authority to decide if she will give birth or not, no matter who the man is.

If a man is 100% accountable for sperm, then a woman is 100% accountable for eggs.

Unless she's married and gets a divorce/husband passes away, women CHOOSE to be single mothers.

Marry BEFORE you carry, and even then, women initiate most divorces.

Basically, the idea is if a woman is a single mother, its her fault which I think is trying to absolve men's accountability in the situation because a man has to shoot the club up for her to have a child in the first place.

Posing it this way, it’s definitely her fault.

She chose the wrong person and proceeded to have the child anyway.

We live in a society where a person can choose to give up their rights as a parent and want nothing to do with the child. The same way a woman can choose to abort a pregnancy.

The thing is a lot of men do not take it that far cuz they’re lazy, care too much about other ppl thinking they’re not a real man and/or a deadbeat, and want to not play the role of a father but still have access to their child.

i think ‘a lot’ has to be defined…there could have been ‘a lot’ of ‘brothers’ that were vocal about not feeling serena/them but it was far from the majority. that noted, serena definitely had a few arcs when i do remember that ‘manly’ critique being in the zeitgeist, especially later in her career that minority became more pronounced, i think anyways…for what it’s worth personally i remember leaning more towards thinking she was more ‘burly’ looking for a woman at the time, this version of serena was goated tho:
