Basketball Thread About Nothing

The carry/travel combo. This the stuff they practicing because it’s what they’re allowed or the other way around?

*edit

Btw, NYK would have smacked the Warriors tonight with a healthy JB. They have the better depth but still inferior overall. Even with the newest update to the offense in Jimmy Butler.

Great vid but. About 30% switched pivots with the ball in their hands. Another 40% took the gather step which is a walk everywhere outside of the pro leagues. Garland did a stutter step on his gather which would be a walk anywhere. A lot of these pros get away with murder when they play because the NBA doesn’t call the game the way they should because they don’t want to “disrupt flow.”

It's also multiple fouls. Hip check on the first dribble, then 2 or 3 pushes with the left hand. It's even arguable that the pushing & multiple fouls cause the awkwardness of the gather. Great no call both ways. For decades now, fans, players, coaches, organizations, schools, have told refs not to decide games in the final seconds. And that's how things have been called.

Great game winner, point blank period.

Great shot! I hope it can push NCAA to do the right thing and adopt the nba/fiba travel rules. The game needs universal travel rules.

We all know it’s only a matter of time. NCAA/HS holding out makes no sense to me…

Dwight got quite emotional there. This means something to him! Shoutout SVG & that Finals squad.

That’s nice of Orlando. And likely planned for this date given the opps and his relationships with them as well. His jersey shoulda been retired before that old hater though.

Stacey Augmon letting an nba player babysit his same aged daughter sounds like bad parenting to me but who am I to speak on that? It def has to hit different now after Dwight named all his kids there, if not already in his mind before this speech, for Plastic Man.
