They play jail ball a lot apparentlyCome to Indiana play some real basketball and not that trash *** NC bball scene. So you don't call fouls when you get fouled on a shot attempt? Why wouldn't someone just foul you everytime you shot then?

That's backwards. That's literally what and 1 is for. You call foul and make it it doesn't count. Thats y u call and 1 only when your sure it's going in.And 1 means stop ball bc I called foul, now let's see if I make it but it won't count.
That's that veteran streetball savvy. Other tricks include;
1) Never admitting to touching the ball last before it goes out of bounds
2) If the ball does go out of bounds in the paint, always check the ball at the 3 pt. line and hope the other team just lets you have it
3) Yelling out "respect his call" when your teammate gets fouled and he doesn't call it.
4) Poke shooters in the stomach mid-shot
5) Tug on shorts/shirts during a pick/screen
6) If you're winning, chances are you'll be accurate with the score. If you're losing, you may round up your score a point or two while bringing the opponents down one.
If the other team ever disagrees with any of the above, have them shoot a 3 to prove it because "the ball never lies".
Nah, but seriously, I played yesterday and saw all these tricks being pulled in the course of the couple games I played
Is the Spalding TF-1000 and Wilson Evo ball still the best indoor ball?
Left my Wilson back home at my parents home in CA, so I'm looking to buy a new one.
Okay, thanks for the insight...I'll look into the Nike Championship ball too.the new spalding tf 1000 legacy isn't the same, it feels like an outdoor ball. not sure about the 'classic' but reviews aren't good for that either
I'd say the top indoor for sale now is the evolution, solution, baden elite, or the nike championship one
It isn't about COUNTING, it is about a 3 PT shot shouldn't be DOUBLE the amount of points as a 2 PT Shot. They're both equally easy. I see no difference.
When you go by 1s and 2s, that is what you are doing.
And1 just is a verbal acknowledgment that there was contact while in the act of shooting.
It is NOT calling a foul.
Play continues, if the shot goes in. Bucket. If the shot misses, whoever gets the rebound plays on
Bc dudes will be fighting...Come to Indiana play some real basketball and not that trash *** NC bball scene. So you don't call fouls when you get fouled on a shot attempt? Why wouldn't someone just foul you everytime you shot then?yea you keep that soft stuff in Indy.

Screaming "and 1" is just a flex if you make the shot.
If you miss....it ain't a foul. It's a miss. If you do make, you're just saying you got the bucket despite the foul, and the game proceeds.
Y'all right I'm trippingAnd1 just is a verbal acknowledgment that there was contact while in the act of shooting.

I mean fouls most of the time aren't blatant. So if somebody inadvertently fouls you on a shot you not calling it? I really don't understand your logic bruhIf the man is blantly hitting your wrist or doing dumb **** to effect your shot then of course.
But I'm speaking on the bull like if you get ripped, defense barely touches you and you turn it over so you gotta call foul.
Or you go in there soft and barely get touched and you miss the layup so you call it. Come on dog.
I'm going to start calling more fouls or purposefully pushing people onto the ground from now on.
This past weekend there were some short dudes, some college freshmans who hadn't hit their growth spurt yet, try and defend my friend by jumping onto his back like a bookbag every damn time. I'm talking about arms wrapped around his neck with his legs wrapped his torso funny business crap.
Had some other guy who got tired of getting blocked and out-rebounded by me start running at me full speed to push me out the way. Also a whole bunch of dirty plays like kicking my leg when I went for the pull up shot.
The dirtiest was this one white dude who purposefully jumped on my ankle when I was on the ground. The other one was this crunchy guy who almost looked purple couldn't believe I blocked him so on the fast break he clotheslined me when I had already released the ball for the layup.
Yeah, I'm not risking any injuries if folks are playing that way. That isn't even basketball anymore.I'm going to start calling more fouls or purposefully pushing people onto the ground from now on.
