leasing is def the way to go on an a5 tbh theres a lot of problems with it but its still a flashy ride that gets the panties moist leasing can be had for around 500 a month

yoooo he wasn't asking....i was asking. he was just telling me his specs on the A5 he owns kuz i asked. but honestly, as much as i love the A5 and S5, i'm living a caviar dream on spam budget hahahha
i hit up the audi and VW dealer in LA and realistically i'm gonna end up with the VW CC with their lease special going on right now and 3 year free maintenance. then when i'm making $10k more per year....i can entertain a $500+ a month car note.

The A5 just doesn't compare to its competitors, hell even the S5 for it's price range

I live in LA man, stuck in bumper to bumper traffic all day even on the weekends too. So horsepower/torque is not a huge concern for me, gas mileage and looks are. I think the A5/S5/RS5 family are the best looking coupes hands down on the market right now, I was able to afford it so I got it. I could have purchased a bunch of other cars with more power for the half the price, but for what to burn gas at a stand still on the freeway in an ugly car, At least at a standstill people see how fly my A5 is. What do you drive? GTR?, Lambo?, Ferrari? some sort of M? must be something super duper fast

If you haven't driven the s5 yet, then getting the a5 is ok. Just don't drive the S5, because you wouldn't ever want to go back to the a5. For some people, the power of the A5 is plenty, as it's not exactly a slow car. But having more power is not just about driving over the speed limit, it's how fast you get to a certain speed. For example, I wondered if I would ever need all the power of my 335 as I was also debating between a 328 vs 335. Having driven the 328 a few times as a loaner, I'm extremely glad I went for the 335 as I use the extra power everyday when I'm trying to over take someone or even just for fun. 
Test drive both and make the decision, but I vote for the S5. Plus I really can't stand the single outlet dual exhausts in the back.

God yes that single dual KILLS me! Looking at AWE or Millitek but might end up getting STaSIS so my warranty isn't killed (Audi is flagging modded cars now) but then I have to purchase the S5 diffusor and hangers to accommodate the new pipes. Thank you for pointing out that the A5 is NOT a slow car. The low end is pretty impressive for a 4 banger, there is also a computer flash from GIAC for like $500 that gives you 60 extra horses and 45 ft/lbs of torque.

I got 2.0 drop all around on mine.....but the roads around my way aren't bad and but its worth it. It drives like heaven but when I have the wheels on thoughC'mon man! Trust me, with Philly roads, 1.25 in drop is all it can take without completely banging up the bottom.
every hole I can't dodge in time hurts my soul.I think you could get 2.0 drop and the car wouldn't be near the ground at all. Especially with the stocks.
