Aqua 8s Black Friday 2015

07 Aqua's were a terrible shoe.

The paint was glossy as hell. Them shiits paint chipped after a week of wears. Became even more severe months after release.

I agree that there's something about the ankle shape that's off from the og.

My bro told me how the socks under were stitched from the outsides which caused the rounded/hidden sock liner look on the OGs and '03s. Then '07-present they are stitched from the inside which makes the sock liner more visible. I could've gotten things mixed up forgot which method was used, but they're definitely different.

they screwed up doing 7s for black Friday when they released Bordeauxs in July

it looks better now to be completely honest. I'm not going to lie to my self and say the OG sockliner looks better because it actually looks kindve sloppy. Much more cleaner now

The chromes look better, these Aquas look fake asf judging from the official images. I still have my 07's they're in great condition and minor chipping. This will be an easy pass.

The insole on this years pair is pretty dope, don't know if you guys have seen it yet. That's about the only thing I like about it. I think they did a sloppy job with these to be honest.

The bottom looks like plastic I don't like the color of the heel it looks bright grey or like a 3m color. They just aren't appealing to me.

Say what you want about how close they are to the Ogs but the 07 are tanks. I've had mine since release day and they still look great and are 100% wearable. Probably some of the toughest sneakers I've ever worn. Well over 200 wears too

I respect your opinion and it's the Internet man but that's just what I prefer, I like older shoes. I have newer sneakers but that's just what I prefer.

Nothing special about mine. Paint started chipping years ago but other than that I haven't had a single issue with mine. Still going strong for 8 years. Im not particularly rough with my shoes but I've got a ton of shoes that I was the original owner for that are 7+ years old that are still going strong.
