for live sports, jailbreak appletv, install xbmc, and install the app called: sportsdevil

what its basically doing is pulling the streams from skysports, frontrow, etc and pushing it to your big screen.  so you have to find the HQ or HD stream.

People need to stop mentioning AppleTv 2. Unless you are willing to pay $200 for one. The AppleTV 3 hasn't been jailbroken yet and probably won't be.

Sold my ATV2 on eBay. It went for $230 unjailbroken. Upgraded to ATV3 for $90. 

I don't care to jailbreak so it was more than worth it for me.
