It's still possible to get some pretty deep scratches if you're not careful. I had a big *** one on my 5 

 but it was because I let my son play with it 

 thankfully I had a protector. It doesn't happen to often where you'd be in that situation.. but it's not impossible to get a major scratch.

I took the screen protector off my 5 like a year ago. Been lucky and have no scratches.

why are people still buying screen protectors? aren't these screens all scratch proof by now? i can't even remember the last time i used one.

I always start off with one, and then as time progresses I just don't care anymore and end up taking it off. You never know what could happen, the same thing as buying a case.

i don't drop my phone i see the case as to prevent scratches, and some cases have a grip on them which keeps the phone from sliding out ur hand. 

on top with new bulging cam i hope the case protrudes enough to compensate a actual part of my phone poking out!

Itd be different if they were a significant amount of money, but you can pretty much get a pack of 5 for like $2. its recommended that you changed them every couple months, but im sure most who use them are like me and dont change them until you absolutely have to.

Anyways its the same reason the ones who "never drop their phone" still put a case on it just to be careful not to scratch it/ding it up

If you bought puncture proof tires would you go driving through a work site full of nails?

I think what I'm going to do is this, I've got 5 lines but 2 are in my possession. I'm going to upgrade both, one 6+ 16gb and the 2nd will be the 164gb 6+.

I'm going to sell the 6+ 164gb for as much as I can without opening it, and use the 6+ 16gb for my personal and then sale my 5 I have now that I won't need.

I should come out a out $800-$1000 ahead and a brand new 6+.

I'm only @ like 7gb used on my current 5

This is similar to what I plan on doing, only using my mom's line to get the additional iphone. She probably won't upgrade from her Android phone for a while anyways so figured this would be a much needed come-up.

How much do you think the 6 and 6+ are gonna resell for? Probably just the same price as they are when you buy them unlocked? Does Verizon and the other carriers sell for around the same price?

This is the part that confuses me. I pre ordered in a sprint store for a 16 GB black on the 12th  and the way they explained it to me put me under the impression that I could just stroll in on release day and would have one reserved. But one of boys told me something different so I called and they pretty much said that pre ordered iphones will probably come in on a different shipment later on and that I could show up early for first come first serve. That makes no sense. I figured people that pre ordered got their phones reserved on the 19th.

Exactly my point. There is always a possibility of the screen getting scratched regardless.

I always get my front screen protected with Ghost Armor. It cost $30 however its guaranteed for life.

You can get it replaced with a new one as often as you'd like.

how good is that ghost armor with the screen i hate how some covers lower screen quality they give you that HD display then some covers make it look like milky mess

all you do is call them, its done like that. you dont enter any codes or anything

your phone has to be out of contract for something like 2 weeks. then you can do it from the att site. it just takes them a few days.
