I've recently become a big fan of Roulette.

The strategy a dealer once told me was to pick 1 number and stick with that number all night, you have to have bank though.

the other one I've pretty much gone/go with is just play the sections. Divide the wheel into sections of 6, and play those #s or if you want to give yourself better odds, play 2 sections etc.

i think i found a good strategy. i barely play when i go, just stick to poker, but ive won everytime ive played.

bet 1 unit on every other number, if you hit, make the same bet. if you dont hit bet the same amount with 2 units. and keep going like that.

played this strategy 4 times and turned $100 into 200 twice, 300, and 400.  its best to play the electronic or video roulette this way imo, some might be annoyed by this pattern.

I recently turned 21 and have been to Atlantic City twice to different hotels. I only played the roulette table for the whole day/ night. The both times combined I won 5500. 2000 the first time around, 3500 the second time around. I feel like I have a nice way of spreading and making bets. I play the outside till I have about 200 in winnings, I take that 200 and get chips and spread on every single number on the board as much as I can 2-3-4 chips varying on the numbers. You hit a number you win a lot.

sorry to derail the thread but school me on baccarat.  all the people i know who are "higher" rollers (approximately your price range of $5-20K per trip) play baccarrat.  Unfortunately none are really friends, just acquaintances (all my friends are poor like me).

Why is bacc a rich mans game?

it really isn't a rich man game depending on casino..I know card rooms have bacc minimums at $10, but in vegas at the nicer casino its a whole another beast.  Minimum at night in cosmo was $100 a hand.  High limit was $200 a hand.  Its a simple game highest you can get is 9.  10s and Face cards have no value other cards have face value.  So if bank side draws 7 and 7, 7+7=14, so bank side is now at 4 points because highest can only be 9.  Object is to have the higher value, whichever side you bet.  You can bet player, banker, or tie.  Ties generally pay out 9 to 1 depending on casino, although some only pay 8 to 1.  If you bet banker and win they take 5% commission because in a 8 deck shoe on average banker will win more times than player.  Its mostly a 50/50 game thats why alot of people like to play.  You can catch a streak and win big if you're willing to roll, or you can lose big.  mini bacc you can't touch cards, but in high limit full bacc you can touch cards.  And if you really rollin in vegas they let you deal, but those are the 10k minimums usually.  I don't have funds to touch that.  Most I've won in one sitting on bacc is 50k and I won't get on how much I've donated to my local indian casinos.

so then what is the strategy? or is there any?  when you say "willing to roll" are you talkin bout letting the bet+winnings ride over and over and hope you catch a hot streak?  it seems so basic that there wouldnt really be a strat involved.

Some people see patterns, I really don't.  I've seen all types of !%$$ happen.  Only thing you can think of is like blackjack if a bunch of small cards came out last few hands you know some 10s will come out.  Other then that I don't see much of anything.  When I say willing to roll I mean bet big.  Small bets on bacc don't really win you money unless you catch a super long streak and I mean it happens but rarely.  Longest streak I rode was 16 bankers, but I've seen 20+ come out before.  And yes beacon I'm chinese lol

so to my understanding, if you play the outsides on those 3 rectangles, what ever hits in that grouping of numbers you win?

and the bottom row is if you hit anything in that row your payout is 2-1? so i put down 50, i get back 150 correct? (my OG 50 plus 100 from the casino?)

Sorry but false, if you bet the thirds you get paid 2 to 1. Its the same odds as the columns on the bottom.

There was a Roulette MACHINE at the 29 palms Casino in CA that let you do Minimum .15 cent Bets, with a Maximum of $50. I won about $300 in 3 hours. So all week long I'm at work in AZ thinking about how much money I'm going to make on the weekend, and I went to the Casino, and it was GONE!!!!!!
