Dan Schneider happened. Hollywood happened.
A part of me feels bad...like chick was famous from when she was
10 years old. Then she got her own TV show.
That's just dangerous. It ain't right for a kid to have to deal with the kinda criticism, expectations and pressure of being the star for millions of people. Going to work with rooms full of strange adults with shady motives. Making stupid money, before you even know what money is. I'm sure ****** up things happened to and around her and the people who were supposed to look out for her, were just counting bankrolls or maybe WERE the ones doing the ****** up things to her.
And then you got an army of people feeding you all the ******** a kid can swallow, cuz that's the paycheck. Who's gonna put her in check? She's "worth" more than all of yall. Even her own parents. That's why say you stop growing emotionally at the age you get famous. Cuz you can get all the ******** validation you could want with a wave of the checkbook and a random mob of fans. And then one day, the kid celebrity ain't so young and cute...and the agents and publicists stop returning calls and jump ship for the next PYT.
And this emotionally 10 yr old person, who's been taught the world revolved around them, doesn't understand...when you don't have agents and publicists keeping your dirty laundry outta the tabloids, it's open season on you.
And who could tell her ****? Her parents probably witnessed or turned a blind eye to foul **** she was doing or was done to her back in the day. And the people reaching out to her, probably only care, cuz they know there's still zeroes in the bank acct. Couple appearance fees and speaking parts they could get a piece of before the ship sinks.
Iono...it's easy to feel bad in principle, but I'm sure in person, she's the ******g worst.
Just a shame is all. Dear Ashley was comedy when I was young. How Keenan the only one who made it?
