How much pull kornheiser got at espn that he can do bills podcast like that
Nah, Harlabob is a pompous *** who thinks his poop don't stink. He acts like he knows more about basketball than everyone else, and he'll let you know about it.
Yeah for sure. I don't like him because he just talks down to you.Nah, Harlabob is a pompous *** who thinks his poop don't stink. He acts like he knows more about basketball than everyone else, and he'll let you know about it.
I miss him with Kevin Wildes.I miss Bill and actual NBA writers/reporters on the podcasts like Lowe, Stein, Windhorst, etc. Now it's just his friends shooting the **** about the NBA, which is cool but can get old.
I do think he's a good listen but it is amusing that whole hardheartedly feels he can construct rosters and coach in-game as well the people who actually do it. Didn't see him concede that in the Finals that Ty Lue was proven right and he was wrong.
Oh trust me, I remember that podThe last straw for me was when he did that playoff preview pod with Simmons and said he knew the secret to beating to Golden State, but wouldn't reveal it. Like he's some all-knowing savant who has seen things coaches can't see in game film. *****. Also, his complete dismissal of OKC was just as bad. We're talking about a team that had a track record of deep playoff runs (when healthy), with a better team than they had in the past. And he completely trashed them. I know it seems like I'm cherry picking examples, but those are two egregious recent ones.
http://thebiglead.com/2016/09/08/mi...le-to-split-espns-nba-countdown-hosting-role/Michelle Beadle and Sage Steele to Split ESPN's NBA Countdown Hosting Role
Michelle Beadle and Sage Steele will split the host role for ESPN’s NBA Countdown this season, The Big Lead has learned from a source with knowledge of the situation. The source requested anonymity because he wasn’t authorized to speak publicly on the matter. An ESPN spokesperson declined to comment for this story.
Last year, Steele hosted Countdown on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and Doris Burke hosted Wednesdays. This year, Beadle will be on Wednesday and Friday, and Steele will do Saturdays and Sundays. In the move, Steele will become what the source described as a “face” of remote SportsCenters, where she’ll anchor on the road from big events such as the World Series, Super Bowl, Masters and NFL Draft.
Doris Burke will have an expanded role as an analyst and reporter in the NBA and for both men’s and women’s college basketball games. In the past, Beadle, who will remain on SportsNation, has occasionally filled in on Countdown.
mays and barnwell are basuraSimmons and their NFL guys do that too though.. Well mays and barnwell.. Always founds it funny when they said something so matter of factly only to be proven wrong or they simply glossed over something of signifigance.. I get that following all teams as much I follow my 1 team is hard, but you just need to follow a couple beat writers for the team or hell even just the right one
Lowe while dry and over technical was good with that aspect of things.. Jalen too
