All Things Sports Media Thread!!

We need to make a rule athletes cannot have biographies written about them before they've even played one full professional season.

Have any of y'all actually read the Keyshawn book? I wanted to back in the day but never got around to it.

Seems like an odd time to commemorate the 30 for 30 series considering it has lost considerable steam in the past few years. I still watch them but remember in the early 10's when they were appointment viewing. American Son, the Michael Chang story, was a really good watch if anyone's looking to watch a recent one.

Interesting convo, I get her point but I've always felt it was weird for outsiders to be in there while dudes are getting changed.

I don't care how many times I hear his stories, I am glued to the screen.

GOod convo.

nah mayne podcasts be too long. I just need the reels/shorts versions. I knew about him having the sick family member and traveling back and forth to Dallas after/before/between games and practices though. He never let the team know. I know he was kind of a bust, but I wonder if they would have let him use the pj.

Watched the Dame-Lynch interview just because of it being Oakland. I've never seen the pod but when Lynch asked when was a time you got Got? (I figured it was a recurring question cuz of him) and just like Dame going on before being cut off I took it to when I got robbed one time on Bart:lol:

This is an interesting take. I do agree the NBA has a problem with three-point shooting and they need to figure out a way to fix it but I'm not going to overreact to opening night with the Celtics shooting 60 threes. I think the NFL did a good job last year by implementing the games played limit needed to make all-NBA.

The NFL had a similar problem about 20 years ago with defensive backs being overly physical with receivers. After the 2003 AFC championship game between the colts and the Patriots the NFL put greater emphasis on the 5-yard illegal contact rule, giving receivers greater freedom of movement (and thus improving the TV product).
