JB only tried to label them with the year of their release and not the numbering. In fact, Nike did not labelled their Air Jordans before the AJ12 on their boxes anyway.
They figured out a bit late that the labelling with the years is Marketing wise less effective.

the galaxy one looks way worse imo... that same light toe looks awful on a dark shoe like that. I mean it looks awful on both but it looks even worse on those

Almost every shoe hits the outlets at some time. Hell there are Lebrons XIII's in the outlet by me already.
I just get disappointed that a $200 doesn't have cushioning in the hell. Really disappointed in JB. IMO the super fly would be an amazing shoe the last few years with some more heel cushioning.
My problem with the play testing is that an athlete in his prime might not feel the after effects of not having heel cushioning like an older cat like myself. lol.

Discounts sound good for these, I was able to get my 29s for $130 off Nike.com, so maybe I can get the same with the 30s.
