was really surprised when i read that nike were retro'ing them.
will hope to get my hands on as many as possible when they drop.
so were there only ever 4 OG colourways released of this shoe?
thought i remember seeing an all black pair somewhere....
With Nike ever increasing the size of their Air units, in 1992 the sleekly designed Air Max ST had the largest heel Air unit to date. With a larger Air unit, more support was needed and was offered by the use of Footbridge technology. The Footbridge of the ST included a post as well as the usual plate for superior support. Like the idea of visible Air cushioning, the thermoplastic Footbridge of the ST was visible and allowed for a more sculptured mid-sole. The Air Max ST also contained a forefoot Air unit.

Yup, wally i was thinking the same... they "look" the sameOriginally Posted by WallyHopp
thanks for the new photos.. grey pair looks too shiney, like its not the right material or if it is, its still not on par with the originials.. the white pair may be the only thing purchaseable. it looks almost all white. im guessing the grey is very subtle.. its the best worldwide nike can do however, so i guess we'll take it

these look nice, however IMO, they look like they wouldn't be proportioned right with a small air unit.
the ST was at the moment the nike with the biggest air unit...
and it woudnt look good with such a small air unit like they put in the retro 180s

Hope the Air Sole Unit "painted" area does not crack due to its shape over time (oval cutout) but in all likelihood get out the Sharpie marker & Angelus paint just in case
The black/grey/blue OG is the best cw still...
Anyone know the release areas? US only, QS, Canada/Europe, etc.?
