Just because they're Originals, don't mean they're better. Switch the roles right quick.

If Cool Greys FIRST came out with the blue soles, and the 2010 retros were clear, you would be sitting here saying "yeah, the blue looks better."

You guys are so ingrained in your beliefs that previous releases are better, that you're going to sit here & tell me that those shoes aren't yellow?

out of the 5 pairs, only one is flawless

THIS. dont post too often anymore, but this is one of the few posts with some merit.

was fortunate enough to cop 3 pairs on r.d. and out of all 6 shoes (3x2 for ppl who are mathematically inclined) only 1 pair is up to par. 
some came pre-creased on the tongue area, but mostly the patent cut was just horrendous.  non-acceptable outside of the 1 shoe. 
IMO patent cut is one of, if not the most important factor attributing to overall quality and comfort for the XI.

the 2001's had a slight yellow tint to them on its RELEASE DATE

i remember comparing them to my space jams, concords and colombia's

if i remember correctly, the grey's released last and still had the soles with the most yellowing

it wasn't severe but it was noticeable

Yeah I know I saw some of the Spurs players wearing them last week, but JB retro wearers are the minority in the NBA and who knows if they are the same pairs we get.  College players I have seen wear fake Jordan's so its whatever.  But I get your your point and I stand corrected.  But I think the newer JB models like the 2010 are made better for ball and the Retros more for casual, buts that's just my opinion and preference.
