Air Jordan VI Carmine confirmed for 2014

Of course a buyer can't trust anything when sellers are dishonest but justify it in their mind as honesty.

Exactly finally my point.

how the hell we talking about changing the world all of the sudden... yeah the world woulda changed if i didnt sell that one pair.

you can think about it as if that guy got jerked, whereas that guy is thinking wow these kicks are fresh and thinking about the good deal he got. all about perspective my dude, all that matters is the dude that bought ems opinion

If a shoe is worn, that retails at 180, resale is at 260

I think regardless of it was worn for a day or a few hours you still touched the pavement which ideally would make the best deal in the 220 230 range.

Anything higher than those number was a jerk.

I mean yeah he paid for that and that's his business but still. We're entitled to an opinion.

As long as you're not teaching it..LOL

def ill be the note taker. really though ima never do it again after seeing the reaction in here. didnt even know that it was that bad when i did it.. lesson learned tho.

also, people rocking jordans in large masses is definitely not anything new.

I remember when the 01 black/red XIs dropped. I swear everyone in my high school had them on. all we did was say "you too!!!

" and keep it moving. definitely nothing that can be done about wearing a popular shoe.
you shouldve seen my high school the monday after the black/red 12s came out (03?/04?) **** was absurd lol

To ME, unDSing a shoe is when it's worn, laced, and hitting the pavement. LOL.

I mean, when you go to buy a shoe, someone probably have tried it on already. Employees, someone who wanted to see how it fit, or someone who returned the shoe. You just never know.

I try not to dig that deep, just go by how you feel about the condition and the price you're willing to pay.

so putting a shoe on to take a picture is classified as worn? Worn to me is the shoes being put on to go outside for use, not to take a pic. Unless you decided to take a pic of the shoe after you wore them outside then decided to sell them. As far as levels of trying a shoe on....:lol . It's either they're tried on or it's not. This whole "shoe game" terminology is just ridiculous. Too many people are reading way too into it. Stupid definitions like this pop up as a side effect of reselling. People want to word it so they can get the most money for selling the shoe so they phrase it in the best possible light to make it seem like the shoe is as close to brand new as possible. Tried on is fine, as long as there isn't something majorly wrong. But you have those that think that tried on means it was stomped around in and not brand new :{ . The nuance with kicks is a bit much and can get annoying at times. I've seen the stupid thread about the terminology of DS versus VNDS and tried on. By all accounts, it's one of the stupids argument's I've read on this board.

I actually am cautious with that reasoning due to the fact that people get emotional when you say you tried something on for a picture. You always have that one idiot to lead on the bunch about the whole if it's on it's worn and etc etc.

I'm just trying to be fair. Yes it is a stupid discussion you are right, but it's often misunderstood and needs to be clarified.

We can RIP this now

... yall are freaking out i didnt even know it was that big of a deal. just saying though if i were to say on my ebay ad "worn once for 2 hours" how many would believe that... we were just talking before my post how yall never believe ads that say worn 1 to 3 times. Not gonna take a hit on a pair of kicks with not even one spec of dirt on the sole. like i said buyer was super happy with them so if he was happy, no reason for yall to be freaking out

whatever tho didnt know this would cause much of a stirrup, back to the carmines
Mind sharing with us ur eBay name?

undisclosed info... i rarely sell anything on ebay and rarely sell kicks at all 99% of times i just wear them instantly that was just one special case because of wrong size and a fast rerelease. whether you have my name or not, you are taking a chance buying a pair of shoes from anyone on ebay regardless of feedback and could do much worse than buying the pair i sold... most people in here arent dumb enough to buy a pair of shoes that is going to rerelease and go down in value in a couple of months anyways though

If u rarely sell shoes than if shouldn't be z problem giving us ur eBay name then right? Or r u afraid nobody will buy shoes from u now in the future if they did know ur name?

Cosign! Honesty should always reign supreme. The world would be a much different place if it were valued.
yupp! I never lie about trying shoes on or condition. if it's worn more than one time out, it's listed as worn. I take care of my stuff regardless and the money lost or "hit' taken doesn't really matter to me. I'd much rather have piece of mind than lying to someone and facing repercussions or having the same thing happen to me.

I ended up getting my Carmines, but I had to work so hard for the shoe that I almost just passed on it completely.

I woke up at 4:45 AM(Los Angeles), and I'm ready to go and give it the best shot. I decided to go the ****'s Sporting Good & Nike route and not even deal with FTL or FNL. So, first thing I went for was Nike and as it has me "waiting in line" I go after DSG as well. Got all the way through to DSG, entered my info, submitted the transaction. Then I got a message giving me an order number and it was submitted, but also had a message saying that the product was removed from my cart and wouldn't be charged.. I was confused and kept checking my email, but nothing.

So I went back to Nike and what do you know? It added to my cart! So at this point, I'm done, it's in my Nike cart... I won... Wrong. I go to the next steps, asks me to sign into my member's name... Sign in, shoes are magically gone from my cart. WTF. I was so pissed off because I just knew the shoes were mine, I could relax.

Again, I was so mad, I didn't even bother with FTL, FNL, or anything else. Just went back to sleep.

Next option was to go down to Nike Santa Monica and grab an unclaimed pair, because I seen the IG post about how certain sizes would be available. I get there at 12:00 PM thinking that the pickup time ends at 1:00 PM. Couple of people hanging around, not a lot, so I'm thinking cool... They'll just release them. The employees up there know me as a familiar face so they're talking to me or what not and told me that the pick up time already passed earlier in the morning and they don't know what they're going to do with the remaining pairs but they don't want people lingering in the store. Fair enough. I asked the lady, "so would it be better to just wait out front until you guys come up with a decision?" she told me yes. So I'm waiting outside, more people are running into the store trying to see if they release and everyone is getting turned down. Me and a group of about 7-8 people started waiting on the side just chatting waiting.

Jordy, the owner of the ShoeZeum, actually stopped by to get a pair too. He was PISSED that they were basically holding the shoe for no apparent reason and wanted us ALL to go in a protest LOL. He went in there talking to the managers with a couple of other people, and I decided to join in to see what they would say. We all told them how pointless it is to hold a shoe that were deemed "for sale" on a specific day and they just wouldn't sell. We let them know that WE know that THEY know how rigged RSVPs are and how hard it is to get a sneaker that you want but that you STILL have to deal with BS like this when it's all said and done. They replied with the normal, "we're waiting for loss prevention to tell us what they want to do"... "we don't want people loittering outside the front"... blah blah blah. If they just sold the shoes, gave wristbands to come back later, or SOMETHING... there wouldn't be any of this.

So, we all decided to just walk away from the area and come back another time. At the point, I'm hungry and I walked downt he street to a McDonald's and got some food. I decide to go back and I literately see people running back to Nike so I knew something was up. I get by the front of the store and I see tons of people with Nike bags and I knew the employees just played us. Luckily, they still had a size 10 left and I was able to cop but I literately spent 3 to 4 hours for a sneaker for NO damn reason other than they just put the stuff out when they FEEL like it.

It really sucks that corporate doesn't step in and just make a sneaker FCFS when all their methods (RSVP) (Re-RSVP) or whatever is done with. Going through all of that to give them OUR money is sad and pathetic.

worn outside 3 hours is WORN. new looks or not, it's WORN. yea, whats that ebay name lol

i so rarely sell anything on ebay that i dont even have an account with any feedback, thus i had to use someone elses account, which im not willing to shout out on here. i dont ever even "double up" on shoes so reselling is out of the question.
