You know something. I've been a fan of Jordans since part of my childhood and Michael Jordan has been making enough money off these as usual after we've been buying them. Well I am a grown man in my 30's I think it is about time I get aawayfrom the Jordan shoe game. Well since Jordan Brand has been making enough money off of these I feel like I should stop buying Air Jordans for good. Because I don't want to continue putting money in MJ's bank account. However I might get like a couple pairs off of sites like StockX and Goat, well, we'll see. But I'm feeling like I should stop buying Jordans for good and just save my money. Don't y'all feel the same?

Part 1

Alright. These are good. Better quality than the 2012 retros. On my SNKRS pair, I noticed the height and shape seemed bulkier than my Sivas pair, which seemed slimmer.

Sivas actually had hints of gray lines to my surprise right out of the box, and SNKRS was dull black. I stuffed both SNKRS and Sivas with 3-4 sheets of paper towels to get that sleek shape, but if you start bending the midsole while the toebox is stuffed, and start folding the upper parts (near wings and netting and tongue) the shape tries to be flatter, looking taller, instead of curved and short.

Anyways I like these, I really like my SNKRS pair more than Sivas. Awaiting my Bstn pair.

The two 99 black cement pair pics were not stuffed with paper, the 3rd pic of the 99 is.
No ironing of toeboxes applied, no painting or cutting applied for the gray line effect.

Sivas and 99s with a thin and thick Nike Air plastic tag. I couldn't find my retro card.

Different angles of Sivas, made the toebox look different.

The white crumbs you see are actually polyurethane crumbling from both 99s.

Just got home from work and finally got my pair in hand, they feel kinda light, compared to other 4’s the last couple years, not as much padding either. But they do look more sleek in hand compared to pics.

I just still can’t get over the NIKE being all the way to the left, honestly has to be some purpose behind that, no way that slips through the production process

Pics don’t do the differences justice. 2019 wins on comfort alone. The 2012 is hands down the most uncomfortable shoe in my closet.

Marciulionis was a solid player for that team. I think those were the Run TMC years for the Warriors right? What a squad. I remember using that team in NBA Live when Live was the best NBA game out there. Great pic!

Yes it was at that time period, I remember being in awe on how solid Suranas was when he put his arm around me for the picture, it has like getting clamped against a brick wall!

Even if I stopped buying Jordans at a rapid pace and sold 98% of my collection, there's always gonna be a continuous 7-pair rotation in my closet that includes 1's, 3's, 4's, 5's, 6's, 11's, and maybe a pair of 12's or 14's.

So no, J's are too legit to quit.

Has anyone noticed that the Jumpman on the tongue on this new release does not have an alien head. It actually looks correct. The WC4 and 2012 have it.
