Most of the time I notice things others don’t but that’s because I’m a detail buff. The overall shape from a far looks similar but things def changed. In the ankle/heel area, the sock liner has a steeper dip. The EP is also thicker and higher. It’s also more angled with straight lines on the 2011. My 2016 Ep is not. The toe box also looks taller and wider on the new retros. Don’t like doing these explanations like this these days, but y’all made it seem as tho what I said was ludicrous. Y’all can’t see but I def can. The mold difference is even more apparent on the cyber Monday pair

The steeper dip really changes the look. Even though theyre the same height 11 has the illusion of being way more of a hightop shoe and makes them look more white. I could never have spotted how different they are without the last pic. I definitely prefer '16 personally after.

Honestly, this is a trash to trash comparison, 3s havent been proper from a shape/build/materials perspective since the 2003 white cements. Granted, these are all better than the 2007 Fire Reds, those are an absolute ABOMINATION.

The 2001 to 2003 for IIIs were basically the last era of good shaped IIIs. Overall quality was hit or miss up until 06 for some jordans.

I don't think it's ludicrous at all. I see the differences you pointed out. I just don't think they are that huge to say the mold is so much worse.
