Actually, I rarely clean my kicks anymore. I used to do it more often. Since I have a double of these, I haven’t cleaned these as often. I just use an old bar of a of soap and a toothbrush. I would use other methods to restore other parts of the shoe if they yellow. Cleaning your kicks isn’t complicated lol. They just make it seem that way because they want people to buy all those goofy products.

I would love a new pair of hares and Bordeaux’s but I’m always inclined to wait for a new pair hopefully to similar or better quality and shape to the 22 cardinals

You posted a large profile picture of a shoe talking about the back we can barely see. 
With that said....I assume you're talking about the back tab being a different color??? Whole picture is saturated.....you don't think that's it?

I posted this believing it was a magazine photo from the 90s, believing it was a potential unseen sample. Because I noticed immediately, the grey edges around the badge. My comment was about the story of this being an unseen sample. I think the photo is decent quality for the time the pic was taken. I apologize that I didn't clarify enough for you in words. Jokes aside, I personally just think that picture was adjusted at whatever point making the back tabs appear to have light edges.
Regardless we need this upcoming release to look JUST like the upper in that pic. Mostly black.

. It's kind of cool, but I'm ready for these to return like no other. And no this is a film on the badge , I have wiped this off several times. It keeps coming back just like this. Almost like there are two different materials they used. If I wipe it too much they will crack. I did not customize this.

Made it back intact (knock on wood). Didn't see any peeling or separating, so I guess we'll see how it goes. I did wear them quite a bit back in 02-03, so they weren't DS which I'm sure helped. Guess I'll keep wearing them lightly and see what happens.

Im pretty sure he is talking about that "Bump" that was noticable on the Toe Box, it was bad.

2011-2012 retros were trash... Bad shape, bad materials, bad midsole paint, bad laces... 2015 and recent retros of the AJ7 are better in everything, in my opinion.
I wish they can make a proper retro of these, with matte paint, purple instead of violet (they are not Raptors!) and genuine nubuk in contrast with durabuk or whatever they call it now.

I agree. I like the early to mid 00s 7s shape the best, followed by OGs. Everything else is whatever.
