2011's might have been the most sought after just given when they dropped. It was on the cusp of the bubble blowing up and JB sales never really looked back. I recall in the threads around that time that many dudes wanted a pair because they didn't want the 20's with the 3's for the CDP so they never got them.
But yeah, no release has ever been that tough.

I expect Jordan 1s to follow the same trajectory as Chuck Taylors.

It may not ring the way it used to but they're sure selling exponentially more shoes than they were 3 years ago, let alone 5 or 10 years ago.

I have no clue who Chuck Taylor is. Couldn’t pick him out of a lineup. No idea who Levi Strauss is either. But hey, those dudes are still moving units. Jordan Brand will be around long after we are gone from this planet.

Hoping all major 2025 releases are mass produced. Resellers will learn and stay away. Excited to stock up on what’s dropping next year.

The only release that I want which I’m banking on to be easy are the white/cement 4s. Stuff like the Galaxy Foams, Undefeated 4s and Rare Airs…..they will be hard to get. Jordan Brand/Nike is definitely firing up that hype machine again. That is their only response to kids crying about shoes being “bricks”.

I told myself this when they first retro’d the Fire Red 4s back in 2006. And then again when the Space Jams dropped in 2009. And I was truly done when the Fire Reds dropped again in 2020……… the only ones who can truly exit the game were just casuals to begin with. Lol

Yeah, that’s what I’m saying. Can’t fully exit. The only thing I’ve actually quit was buying hoops and running shoes with new tech. Partially because Nike hasn’t brought out anything new in awhile, but moreso because I can no longer play basketball or run due to an injury.

I'm in a basketball gym and on a court basically 6 days a week so I'm still buying performance basketball sneakers frequently. I have 5 pairs of AE 1's in my closet, plus those KD 4 retros been added.
I can get 2 AE'1s for the price of these Jordan 3's.

AE1s are a shoe I wanted to try out so badly. Copped my daughter a pair to hoop in since I couldn’t. Also, LOL at everyone crying on social media when Complex named them as the sneaker of the year. I thought it was deserved, because it was the first signature shoe that has come out in a long time that looked great and performed well. The fact that AE’s Q rating blew up at the same time also helped.
Also, Sabrina 1s need to be on that list too. Another pair that made me wish I could still hoop. First signature shoe from a woman that gained traction amongst NBA players. That says a lot.
