One of the funny things about all of this is you can go back to the wc3 reimagined thread and people were buying multiples and keeping the pairs with the lighter EP lol.

From what I gather people do want thinner and less bold elephant print lines, what they don't like is the grey suede being so light. The grey suede on some of these pics looks very light compared to what we've been getting before.

It seems like the EP on the OG pairs wasn't necessarily identical between the WC and BC. Regardless, if I have to take either too-light print vs that awful, over-the-top exaggerated bold black-line print used for 20+ years on so many previous retros, I'm taking the too-light without question, on either colorway. Whether or not it is entirely accurate to the OGs, to my eyes it makes the shoes look more elegant/classy than that ridiculous exaggerated EP.

makes a good point, too. Nike/JB do this a lot, seems like. Years of complaints about something like that lead to overcorrections. Just like how the 2016 Space Jams took the complaints about low patent and went almost too far in the other direction as a result.

That’s what I kinda meant, no need to have changed it again for BCs. But also, the EP was all over the place on WCs, some pairs a lot different than others.
