Hate to derail the thread but man oh man why did they have to change the mould from these...
Black cements with this shape slanting ~35°, high ankle cut, low elephant print at the front and rear followed by great materials and panelling, would have arguably made this a top 3 shoe of the year no??

Don't get me wrong, these will be copped for the sake that they're "better" than the 2018 release but they could have been made so much better, like the reimagine white cements !!

If they don’t then I’d say those are probably the best looking recent 3’s I’ve ever seen. I just haven’t seen another pair of those with that particular shape. We’ve all been in here long enough to know there’s ironing methods and such to achieve a better toe slant. Those even look better than any pair of wc3 reimagined that I’ve seen.And would you think otherwise if they do not have shoe trees in them ?

Edit: nah you got it, I had to go and do some research. I don’t remember these looking this good at all.

Those parts are stretched out, especially that part at the bottom of the tongue.
That part would not look so high and stuffed if there wasn't something in there.

Shoe trees don’t drastically alter shape unless you’re using a shoe stretcher. I’ve got shoe trees in at least 150 pairs right now so I’d have a pretty good idea if the shape was looking different just by having em in

Idk. I put shoe trees in all my shoes and drastically change the shape. That shoe has something in it. Especially after a shoe is worn. Its impossible for it to stay like that.

I actually put a shoe tree in mine, stuff a sock in there, and occasionally iron the toe box depending on the model. But thats just OD. Im just weird like that

I’m starin at WC3’s and AMM’s with shoe trees in both and the shape is noticeably different. Not getting that sleek toe box on the AMM’s with a shoe tree in them.
And dunno what dude above is doin. Those AMM 5’s have a tumor growing on the toe

this is pretty much why i dont stress over shape that much in general. not that the slim/angular toe box look isnt more aesthetic but the shape we chase pretty much goes away once they go on feet PLUS you loose the ability to even examine them that way when theyre on your own feet lol even god awful banana shaped CDP 4s flattened out when you put them on foot. the bigger your foot is, the longer that toe box extends, the less it even has it to begin with.
