Air Jordan 2 good for balling?

they look heavy, probably are. i wanted to cop a pair of 2004 jordan 2 for balling. yes or no?

no...as far as tech/performance they are not much better than the 1s. I am sure a 2004 pair will hold up better than the 2010 pairs releasing. And also theyare not that heavy because they don't have anything in them - just some fancy leather and a bit of collar padding. I suggest you try them on first to seeif you would like them.

But there are MUCH better shoes you can wear for the $$. The cushioning is flat, traction is average at best. They're not that heavy, but feel clunky.
