This would be my first pair of XI's (I know, that's practical sacrilegious in here), so I'm really hoping the Nike gods bless me today.

I'm in the same boat. I remember when they first dropped and wanting them as a kid but I never got them and I never kept up with retro releases like that. It wasn't until the damned Queens Nike Clearance store opened up last year that the inner sneakerhead emerged. I rather have Concords but these will do until then.
