I checked in yesterday at FTL, and for the first time they entered the code in instead of telling me. I guess there's a lot of code sharing going on.

Pretty much. Code sharing will eventually end up burning some of you guys on more limited releases. You have people who normally would not drive the 30-45 miles to enter a raffle, but now they just enter on the app and beg/ask/plead for codes, and they are in there. You guys are widening your pool. Make them put the work in. I've seen the numbers, and that additional 1minute is crucial.

I'm confused why so many people are worrying about this release. They're flooding the market with these. Everybody is going to be able to get a pair if they're not schleep on Saturday

Check your local FTL stores. CS rep said they are seeing stock available for in-store only.

The problem is that most store either do not know how the use their beacon or they aren't operational.

I'm pretty sure when word gets around that everyone is sharing codes, FTL will take action to ensure all beacons at all stores are fully functional. It's also way more convenient for stores to use the beacon so that their employees don't have to go around helping so many customers who walk in by punching in codes on their phones.

99% of barrowed codes get checked in somewhere else. Someone shared a code for vegas, and I checked in in Houston. How is that hurtin his chances?

Just got a pair secured at Shoe Palace on Melrose. Signed up to go to some event on Thursday night to watch Space Jam at the Chinese Theatre. All you gotta do is sign in at the beginning and end of the movie, and then you'll be good to pickup on Saturday

I think that the the next version of this app shouldn't allow you to put a zip code in. It should be location based and have a 60mile radius. Out of towners are already exploiting things with this app.

This works for this release, but as stated, out of towners will find ways to exploit the system. You have to be forward thinking and find ways to protect your area.

Finishline full of $hit! Biggest release of the year and they say they ran out of tickets! ***** Tickets barely cover the bottom of the damn clear case, I know more tickets are on that an roll than what they had in their case. Another Finishline said 200 was their cut off! Smh

Only thing I've copped something from Shoe Palace were the Bred 1s and those were retail

There was actually a memo that said workers are suppose to take your phone if beacon doesn't work but some employees can care less. Most these newbs who are begging for codes can't read or fail to take 1-2 minutes searching. 

Everyone wants a handout now a days.

Damn. I went to Finish Line after work, thinking they'd be out of tickets too...nope. I specifically asked the guy if they got more SJs than TB3s, and he said they did. Based on the amount if tickets in the box, that's a pretty good sign.

People are providing the zip to make checking in from other parts of the country easier. You change your zip, select the store and check in. Once you've done that you can revert back to whatever is local/preferred and it retains your head start. Don't understand why people are still asking for specific store codes...

I absolutely despise these people - with a passion! "Oh My God, I live 10 mins away for the mall, you expect me to go there and get the codes myself?! I have so much to do. This pron won't download itself. This call of duty won't play itself."

And the thing that kills me is that if you call them out on their laziness, you're a hater. You want these damn code that bad, you going to PayPal me $9.45 for these 3 gallons I just expended?
