Bought 2 paira for myself. 1 pair will get a white tongue and the other will get the fragment treatment. My girl wanted me to do hers so I started hers first. Still not done. Prepped it 1st with Angelus leather prepper and deglazer. I read that some of you didnt do this step. This step is important and should not be skipped. Id strip it now before moving forward. A few pics. This is just 1 coat. I'll probably do 3 or 4 Max. Btw I used flat black and dont plan to use any finisher.
The most annoying part is the edges esp around the toe box.

Looks good, their blacks tend to go on thicker than other colors. 4 coats would do a good job over the factory paint that's been deglazed as the layers still add up together. Even better if heat can be applied as well.

Custom lookin good yall...
Just do it with patience.
Btw i think you need to put a final coat of matte finisher. Just to seal the paint.

Bought an angelus kit. Prepared the leather and added the Matte finisher at the end. These pics were before finisher.

Any of you guys using/used a heat gun after applying the Angelus paint? I saw a vid that showed a heat gun should be used to cure the paint, and using a blow dryer is not hot enough to cure the paint.

Its not a must for heat gun...
I just air dry em over night, not in a hurry so just enjoying the process of a custom

Using a heat gun to dry Angelus isn’t necessary. Just use thin coats and let the shoes dry for about a hour after each coat.

Stockx almost had my money. Something told me to stop by Footlocker after church lol. Northline Foot Locker in Houston had a restock and they still have sizes... thought I needed a 9 and ended up getting a 9.5. God is good. Happy Easter!

Got the right shoe done for bae ( no finisher ) added some lace tips. The are a size 7 GS (leather so SO SOFT)
