She’s incorrect. All QNTM models are lifestyle models. Basketball models have a different construction and say BSKTBL instead of QNTM on the box.

This is the same exact shoe as the OG lifestyle pair except in color.

Depending on your size you may want to buy them now. Not sure of the numbers on these but a cursory glance at stockx shows big sizes around $300- I figure they'll creep up from there though it won't get crazy.
