Only problem I see is what happens if you get stuff stuck in the holes?? It's bound to happen because the bottom is still the UB soles with the exposed holes.

Just doesn't do it for me. The UB didn't appeal to me much when I saw them either, but I at least thought they were ok at first sight. I don't think you can pay me to wear these. But to each their own.

Now if they turn this same color scheme into a UB, then now we're talking.

I watched the video review from Futurecraft thread. The guys said the sizing is the same as UB (didn't specify which UB), but it fits kinda narrow.
It needs break-in time to really feel the comfort.
therefill asked about cleaning up the exposed midsle. I guess it'll be tough to clean up, especially if you step on a gum.
Regardless, I like the simplicity of the upper design. I think the futurecraft upper should be the new UB (no cage, 3M or maybe painted 3 stripes).
