"Pre-orders are guaranteed" just means that IF they drop you're guaranteed a pair.

I fully read it and understand tank. But I have seen bigger idiots on eBay have a hard time generating a decent description that makes sense and fully conveys what they mean to say. In that second part of your post you did not mention what he wrote right before it. It is POSSIBLE that he knows something we don't and has access.
Or it is possible that it's complete BS. Most likely the latter
Your money is protected through eBay either way though. if someone wants to chance it they may end up happy
