The NBA was at its best(imo)
Shaq and Penny
Nike was killing it
Windows 95 came out
OJ got off
The economy was still good(not as good as 94)
We had technology but not too much technology
The greatest basketball video game of all time was released: Coack K College Basketball
Outkast winning at the Source awards
Malls was booming
Arcades existed and thrived
Cinema-graphic masterpieces like Mortal Kombat and Hackers were released

I mean, you was there…it was all good. Shoot I think thats when the phrase “its all good” got popular.
 
For the longest I thought the OG EA Sports commercials had Denis Leary in them. Actually that was Nike commercials. I think the EA Sports commercials “borrowed” from them.






Aaand look what year it came out. That ad would be dope today. I forgot PlayStation came out in 1995, too.
 
Nintendo pricing was all over the place until Sony/MS basically forced them to conform to industry standard at 50-60
 
Paying for that plastic cartridge.
Yeah, but $75 for a game in 1996/97 was really absurd. I’m convinced that people who had multiple games in their collection back then were rich!!! I know I’m not the only one in the 90’s would get 1 or maybe two games a year at max… Didn’t understand it back then, but now I see why my mom made us rent games more then just buying games lol. Again, $75 for a game in 96/97…lmfao!!!!!!!!!!!
