I live in Asheville and the paper and news stations always hype this kid up like he's some all american
he should be a prop in the dunk contest....
and beyond that fact he dropped his head and looked so sad afterwards...
yea, seriously, dude is grown%%#* man but can't take a dunk. from the highlights and videos that i have seen, he does seem extremely soft andif he wants to compete in the big league's he is going to need to change that part of his game.

No way he makes it to the L...the days of lumbering 7-5+'s are way over. Yao has actual skill and agility.

If he's gonna make it to the L, he has to go THIS year. As others have said, all that mass will take a toll VERY soon. So the longer he stays in school, the less money (long term) he'll earn from playing.
Dude definitely looks like a softish kinda Mr nice-guy. Like the rest of the team is always pranking him. Replacing his Magnum Ultra Ultra Ultras with regular-sized rubbers and *$*%.

I like how everyone thinks they'd dominate if they were a 7 + footer. Especially at that size.
I'm sure it is incredibly difficult.. also, when a kid like that probably doesn't even like bball that much, just playin because of his size
Most dudes think if they had another foot that they'd lose no speed and athletic ability what so ever
Real %##$%@@ talk. When I'm at the gym people are always talking about how if they had my height they'd be in the league right now.
