Bruh, I’m convinced that the agency’s are treating 800+ credit scores like it’s private club you get invited too. Been sitting on 799 for almost a year.

Someone with 760 and someone with 800 are going to get the same interest rates on loans.

750 and up is all that matters

4.29 40 and 4.31 40 are pretty much the same but I’m telling errybody I ran a 4.2 if I hit the former

It’s a cushion. Wouldn’t you be pissed if you dropped 11 points and get a higher rate on something because you’re borderline at 749?

Reading about it now - 100k sign on bonus is nice, 300 annual travel credit, 10k annual bonus

Pretty in line with CSR/AmEx

-It has a $300 annual credit for bookings made through Capital One travel
-Also gives a 10,000 point bonus (worth $100) a year

So by booking one trip over $300 effectively wipes out the annual fee and gives you $5 in value for having the card

The multipliers for travel are great...

10x on Hotels and Rental Cars booked via Capital One Travel
5x on flights booked via Capital One Travel
2x on all other purchases

Even if you don't use Capital One to book things beyond that one trip, 2x back is the best rate you will find for most everyday purchases

Then it has all the usual premium travel card perks.

It is definitely not for everyone, but I think it looks really appealing for a premium travel card, especially for someone that travels only a couple times a year.

Just watch out for the spending requirement for the bonus

It is $10,000 spend in 6 months. If you can make that work, it definitely looks like a great card.
