2026 NBA Draft Thread

Talent is getting crazy. Idk if he makes it makes it, but moving like that at 14 is impressive.

Really was high on Pettiford.

Crazy how much NIL already changed the draft landscape. I would have to assume just by all these borderline guys going back, this might be the weakest late 1st/2nd round in a long time.

Think it almost makes sense for some borderline first round guys to stay in now since so many others have gone back.
Yea it makes sense to go back if you a borderline 1st rounder and getting a Millys plus thrown at you

The only caution is with the draft process going back most likely hurts your stock in the long run unless you still killing it…Any dip in play or your team sucks you going from late 1st round to middle of the 2nd :lol :{

random highlight from a 13 year old.

but man going for eastbay dunk in a 2 point game under 1 minute is a little crazy.

Incredible play! Did some research and he was born in 09 so he's 15 and will be 16 at some point this year, however still extremely young and talented. These new kids are built different man. Its crazy

if ive learned anything about watching these Canadian prospects, it's the ones you least expect that end up working out like SGA.
so this kid could end up being a bust in the end.

BUT

I have to say ive never seen this combo of athleticism + shot making. usually Canada basketball prospect have one or the other.

Who yall high and low on?

For me Flagg and Harper are all star locks…Edgecombe and Fears got big upside and I’m not seeing it with Khaman or Tre Johnson

Ace is the wildcard for me, depending on what team he goes on he’s an all star or we won’t hear from him much after his name gets called on draft night…I’ll put my take on him being an all star at some point tho

High:
Flagg
Harper
Edgecombe
Carter Bryant
Jase Richardson

Low:
Fears
Queen (I really want him to do well but the warts...)
Wolf

Iffy:
Ace
Tre Johnson
CMB
Kneuppel

Flagg, Harper, VJ.

Think Kanipples is a dawg, and will be a good starter/rotation guy. Strong and good feel. Defense will be iffy.

Think Queen has too good of a feel for the game along with footwork at his size to not work his way into a plus rotational player even with the defensive warts. I'd bet on him becoming a decent shooter.

Big fan of CMB if he can be surrounded by shooters. Will be an awesome multi-positional defender.

Carter Bryant might be another Jaden McDaniels type. Really just needs to be able to consistently hit corner 3s. The size, athleticism, and defensive effort is all there.

Think Bryant is athletic DFS until I see more offense creation out of him. Maybe he can be OG if everything works out.

Also, regarding Ace, I think he’ll be awesome if he gets drafted to a team where they aren’t counting on him on creating a ton.

Elite play finisher.

Aaron Gordon corollary.
