This was the record I didn't think could ever be broken. Griffey had 56 home runs in back-to-back seasons (1997, 199, playing in the Kingdome, in his prime. He also held the next three spots, with 49, 48 and 45. Jay Buhner and Nelson Cruz topped out at 44. So, it's now Cal #1, and Griffey 2-6, while being the primary catcher. It's absolutely wild.
