2026 MLB Season Thread

Seems to be leaning toward Raleigh. Reminds me when they gave Judge Ohtani's MVP a few years ago.

This was the record I didn't think could ever be broken. Griffey had 56 home runs in back-to-back seasons (1997, 1998), playing in the Kingdome, in his prime. He also held the next three spots, with 49, 48 and 45. Jay Buhner and Nelson Cruz topped out at 44. So, it's now Cal #1, and Griffey 2-6, while being the primary catcher. It's absolutely wild.

Detroit in danger of being a wild card team. Cleveland won their 10th in a row and are a game back in the Central. If the Astros lose tonight they’d be tied with Cleveland for the final wild card spot.

Classic Mariners. Should have pulled the pitcher after the hit batter.

We think Trout gets to 500?

Tigers on verge of an epic collapse and they have Cleveland and Boston to close out the season 😰

really wanted to see him hit #400 in person on the next homestand. Congrats to the GOAT 🥹
