Conforto in a Giants jersey is crazy. But it is what it is 🤷🏽‍♂️. Ya man thought he was better than $100-$120 mill.

damn so hitters gotta adjust to the pitch clock. midas whale have a hitters box clock too

Yeah, I heard about this having a huge impact on batters during an M's broadcast last season - possibly even more than pitchers, which no one was talking about. I believe they referenced Justin Upton who was down in the minors and struggled with it early because it was all brand new for him. Less and less of the pre-pitch routines. You gotta get in there and go. It'll get better as everyone gets acclimated. I think it'll be good, but still waiting to see how it looks.

Apparently batters have 8 seconds to get in the box, didn’t know that was part of the deal.

Imagine guys like Nomar trying to adjust to this

Teams wouldn’t let him go up with batting gloves on.

The clock makes things interesting, I think they’ll continue to tinker with how much time is allowed. I like the idea, but 15 seconds seems quick.

Watchin the Yanks and Phils and this pitch clock got the game movin. Batters stayin in the box, pitchers sometimes ain't even gettin off the rubber. Games are fa sure gonna fly this year, I'll be gettin good sleep again :smokin

Yeah I think they should eliminate it for the 9th, have it be a “last call” or sorts. Whether it be rallies for teams to come back, or a SP going deep for a no-hitter/perfect game, it just makes sense to let the game breathe a little more at the end.

I’d liken it to how refs let things play out more toward the end of football games.
