It's hilarious.
The Cubs have raised the kid since he was 16 years old. He was paid 25ish million dollars since he could drive a car, won a World Series as a rookie and yet they wouldn't extend him with a big contract.
The Cardinals come in and throw 87 million at him and now the kid talkin about "we do things "the Cardinal way"
What way is that? Getting demolished in October with two top 10 guys? Getting swept in the first round? Storming the Capital?

Two games in, I like the pitch clock. Less pitchers pacing around the mound, less batters taking a stroll into the grass and then adjusting their gloves 82 times. More actual baseball action. Sign me up for this. I don't care about the total length. The game just flows better when it's pitch after pitch.
