At this point, i wouldnt even care anymore if he eventually gets in. You spent your money to watch him. your eyes were glued to the tv set when he was playing. you knew you were watching the best player by far. dude won three mvps by 1993 and should've been four but they gave it to some scrub.

You guy realize basically around 70% of writers are voting for Bonds right? 
That’s the large majority. There is no room they’re sitting in for one group vote and slamming him out. Bonds and Clemens just couldnt get to that 75% mark of agreement, and that’s not really surprising when they did what they did and a minority of voters still apparently have a problem with that.

We've known the writers aren't **** for years though so not surprised the silent minority did what they do
Just hope that one of these years the HOF structure either changes or all these self-righteous scumbags start being replaced by younger writers with a more modern approach and perspective to the game and what the Hall means and should be in this day and age.

you have no idea. this wasnt from a random game in June. This was opening day 2011. couple days earlier he got convicted of perjury and obstruction of justice. while other people brought corny *** signs of WS champs with flowers and rainbows, i had to make a statement. had people come up to me on the way to the game asking whats up with my sign. bonds is my goat

Steroid use won't get you into the Baseball Hall Of Fame, but it will get you into the WWE Hall Of Fame, i.e. Hulk Hogan, The Ultimate Warrior, and many others who abused it.
I guess juicing as a pro wrestler pays off better than doing it as a baseball player since there are no legitimate records and stats involved.

I can understand why they didn't want to vote Barry Bonds & Roger Clemens in because of the issue of precedence.
Because if they voted Bonds & Clemens in, then they would also have to vote in others who were guilty of cheating after them.

Bottom line is that media guys didn't like Bonds like they do Ortiz.
