Papi was/is more likeable than Bonds ever will be. I'm sure that played a huge factor in voting.

The writers hated BB even before the steroid stuff became public, the witch hunt after definitely became personal imo.
It's a damn shame and an injustice to the game when he literally had 2 HOF worthy careers in one. It's a joke how they've gone about the whole thing and doesn't do the game any justice at all with generations under the age of 50-60

Happy for Twins and Mariners great David Ortiz, but otherwise, we already know what it is. Bonds, Clemens, Schilling, Arod...it's not a HOF without them. What can ya do?
