2026 MLB Season Thread

Milwaukee wasn't supporti.......let me start all over.
I remember getting caught breaking into someones house, when I was a kid.
I got a big time whipping and my parents scolded me.
They were truely disgusted and dissapointed with me.

Fast Forward to the owners of that house coming over with the Police and being upset that I violated them and their privacy.
Clearly well within their right to feel this way against me and they were showing their aggression and talking bad to me and at me and calling me Trash and a thug etc.

My parents immediately took up for me and even though what I'd done was discpicable, they weren't about to let these strangers talk crazy to one of theirs.
I wasn't a THUG or Trash, I just made a mistake.
After that, my parents were a little less upset with me for some strange reason, I think because having to take up for me right then, reminded them that it was "just a mistake" and not something that defined me, as they had just explained to the Victims.

Milwaukee giving Hader a Standing O isn't their support of Hader's tweets, it's just easier and sexier to say it is.

The Mets are a big market team that acts like a small market team & refuses to acknowledge it

Didn’t the Mets only become cheap after the Bernie Madoff situation? Or is that over and done with?

I know i dont post much in here but I do lurk and follow the Brewers closely. Just don't keep as close an eye and know as much as most in here outside of our division.

Just wanna say i ******* knew he was gonna get a standing ovation a day or two ago and Milwaukee's fans are dumb as **** for it. Are they actually cheering for what he said in his tweets? No. They're just too dumb to realize that's also basically what they're doing. They see Cain, Aguilar, Thames, Broxton, and Jeffress standing behind Hader in support as he addressed it in the clubhouse and the fans go we're gonna support him too! Like someone said, how Hader became the victim idk, he's a dope for what he said and the fans are dopes for giving him an ovation.

This country is so damn confused when it comes to communicating about racial issues. It's easy pickings to create more racial tension and clicks in the media on one side and on the other I would have been embarrassed to be sitting in that crowd during the ovation.

^^^^

If you look closely there were some fans sitting down with a look of disappointment
