I was thinking he was gone when Cora and Thompson got let go, but Stearns is probably trying to hold on to him as long as possible because if they let him go and the Mets continue to struggle, he might be next. But I guess if Cohen makes the call, there is nothing he can do.

That’s when games blow up even more. When the relievers and closers show up. And in regards to impactful hits so many runners are stranded at 2nd and 3rd cause of hero ball instead of moving the runner. Chicks dig the long ball but not if you can’t hit it.
