Apparently the human arm can continue to be developed but hand/eye coordination has peaked.

All jokes aside, I saw a news story about how they develop pitchers arms for speed now a days. They expect a pitcher to be able to throw 110mph by 2030.

Im forcing my kids to be Tommy John surgeons. They'll be raking in the dough.
 
What happened to Lawrence Butler? 2 seasons ago he was a beast. Now he's batting 9th and way below the Mendoza line.
 
Hell no. There’s like a handful of decent starters in the whole league.
Overall, I feel like the stuff has been better and the use of relievers a lot earlier in games contributing to this. This of course has led to batters changing their approaches the past decade or so, and folks care less about average if they can potentially get more impactful hits.
