If the lace locks are those cassette tapes, it doesn't even go with their actual shoe. The fact that the box/packaging is going to be super dope makes the actual shoe itself even more underwhelming. 

Pretty much. I don't know if the cassette tape is what holds the laces/lace locks or any other extras that blacksheep plans to throw in, but I gotta agree to the fullest and say the shoes are very underwhelming. I think for the most part, we were all just expecting greatness and these are a "meh" pair. I just can't get over that fake Gucci print that says SB lol..guess they were serious when they said "DONT BELIEVE THE HYPE" g

Reps to everyone who commented on this. I don't wanna derail the thread-I play PS3/PS4 exclusively. Only got the Xbox because 1) it was $61 lol and 2) the home theater/media integration is what I've been trying to accomplish for nearly 5 years. So, kinect is a huge part of that.

The day one edition doesn't resell for what I thought it did. Keeping it as a memento of a come-up.

Try white laces also. I got white in mines and it works very well with the white contrast stitching in the midsole.
