Finally got a pair of these, leather is buttery! 

So nice. I can't get over how much I enjoy this pair. Quality is good but I have no idea if I am spoiled by crap GR quality or they really are good. They were worth every penny to me.

Random, but do you guys think Concept's Janos will sit when they drop everywhere else?

Concepts didn't have 300 pairs in the New York store like they stated.. I was #170 in line and they had ran out by the time I got in there.. They said the boxes would be mailed to us when we paid in store they took our shipping info.

Seems like they the boxes we got were made on a later date and probably rushed.. They don't have the stained wood detailing or the bigger nobs the store version had

Damb. I'd heated if that happened to me. Did u contact concepts about it?

Got my concepts box in after the whole NYC fiasco. Pretty similar experience to everyone else from the NYC release. #200 in line, waited 13 hours. "no wooden boxes" or whatever were in store so I filled out the spread sheet to get it shipped to me.

Anyway, here are pictures of my wooden "box" I got in. 

I wouldn't be upset if 

a) my box came in one piece

b) I hadn't paid extra to have the wooden box

c) didn't have to deal with the whole fiasco at the NYC release between the security guards taking money, not being properly stocked, etc.

Happy with the shoes (I don't really care about the whole un-factory laced/generic NSB tissue paper) but, c'mon, I'd expect to get a fully put together box for paying about $50 extra after tax compared to the regular boxes.

Sorry I just had to vent a bit.

Priority from Cali to Ohio typically takes 2 days and gets delivered on Saturdays...UPS Ground from the west coast to Ohio usually takes 5 business days and is only in service M-F.

Had these waiting for me on the porch. Received confirmation yesterday morning, was not expecting them to get here today.

Found a couple of glue stains on the blue shoe, and found the gold paper rubbed off on one of the shoes.
