No doubt, I watch so many auctions on eBay waiting for the right ones to strike on

my only fear is they don't hold up, I have DS Gino's that I won't ever wear but the nostalgia factor is enough for me to keep them

I honestly feel a bit more comfortable with dunks from that era that have been worn a bit. I have beat to hell silver boxes that are holding up great, but they get used often. Then I have shoes that are near DS from that same era and the sole is separating

Feels like if they get a little use the glue stays "fresh" versus drying and aging.

They aren't retroing SB's right? Those tapebox Supreme's (red pair) from 2012 were a new colorway, but closest thing to a retro I've seen. I can only hope to get Jedi's for a reasonable price, that is one pair that is not dropping.

no doubt the quality on the silver box era was incredible, not to knock current stuff but with anything that becomes more mainstream the quality goes down

I would honestly rather buy pairs that have been slightly worn then come DS

one day there will be legit low to low and high to high retros, I have no doubt

ok so I got some laces in today, trying to figure out what color to put in my SOL lows

and while I was looking at them (being annoyed at how shiny they are) I decided to do a quick wear test to see if they would indeed age like the real SOLs would....

The plan is to have my son wear them to the skatepark in the next week or so to break them in so no harm in grabbing some griptape and getting a head start

I got so excited I almost was going to fake them up.... but wearing normal is the way to go

I know the color is off and the leather on the SOLs is smooth..... but they are just inspired, not actual replicas

The dazzle highs alternate laces are black with red lace tips

I'm loving it, those shoes have way more nostalgia for me than the newer series. Hoping to get Bisons, Bucks, Hemps soon and prices are looking more manageable.

I hope those Cloud Highs are real, if so I'm gonna double up. I have only doubled up on 1 shoe in my lifetime (White Cement IIIs), so this would be special to me.

I'm a huge fan of clouds and take pictures of the sky regularly. So I would love them.

I was thinking about getting a pair before SB pulls the plug on the model.

I bought the hacky sacks, I don't skate that much anymore but I feel like these would be great to skate for some one younger tHan myself. I would say .5 size down from your normal sb low size or get your normal sz. Idk

I've been doing the saving money thing since October of last year and I've bought maybe 4-5 pairs in that time. Just happens sometimes you really don't want to be spending the dough. It's just a machine anyways, how many pairs do you really NEED? And yet Nike et al keep convincing us we need more more more more more more.

Found out that I somehow tripled on the Brazils.... and last week I forgot I had warmth lows in there (now tripled)
