One way of looking at it is that we all have our vices. Just depends on what you spend the dough on. But there's no denying that the money spent is "wasted" in a sense. With the money I've spent in the past few years on kicks alone, I could have saved up to put a down payment on a house (no joke) and I'd be better off with a house than having bought hundreds of pairs of kicks haha
One of my friends keeps trying to tell me I could have bought this or that with the money I've spent......
He's my best friend, but he lives in his workshop and he owns NOTHING.... rents his place, making payments on his truck
I bet I've spent less on my shoes than he has spent on cigarettes
Makes me sad, some of the choices he's made in his life....
He will be with me at my table at the Htown Sneaker Summit... I just got a table so he can try to sell his woodworking skills.... AKA custom sneaker storage! lol (plus gets me in early AND gives me a place to sit)
